Session Summary – In this keynote presentation Lou shares how tragic events can lead to depression and the inability to cope.  Attendees will hear Lou’s amazing story of survival and his transformation from a wheelchair to walking again. This 45-minute presentation highlights Lou’s recovery and has an emphasis on crisis intervention and caregiver stress.

Participants will hear Lou’s journey of limb loss and coping through the life cycles of medications. He offers a personal experience into the darkness of the opioid epidemic bringing awareness to health professionals and pain management specialists.
